Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 April 2026
1. About these terms
By using Asklune (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. Asklune is operated by Tradegroup Swiss GmbH (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What Asklune is — and is not
Asklune is a conversational security companion. It provides information and explanations based on publicly available data, telemetry you grant access to, and AI-generated reasoning.
Asklune is not a substitute for antivirus, incident response, professional cybersecurity advice, or legal counsel. Do not rely on Asklune alone to make decisions that could put you, others, or your assets at significant risk.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised access: security@asklune.com.
4. Age requirement
Asklune is intended for users aged 16 or older. If you are under 16, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 without parental consent.
5. Subscriptions & payments
Paid plans are billed per the pricing shown at purchase. For first-time subscribers, Asklune may offer a free trial — you will not be charged until the trial ends. You can cancel any time directly in the app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds for mobile app purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies.
6. Withdrawal right (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason. To exercise this right, contact us at hello@asklune.com with a clear statement of your decision.
If you requested that the Service begin during the withdrawal period and gave your express consent, the right of withdrawal expires upon full performance of the Service. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are subject to the respective platform’s refund policies.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, disable, or overwhelm the Service.
- Do not use Asklune to harass, defraud, or surveil other people without their consent.
- Do not upload malware, illegal content, or content that violates someone else’s rights.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, the Asklune brand, and all associated content are owned by Tradegroup Swiss GmbH or its licensors. Your chat history and the data you provide remain yours — you grant us only the narrow licence needed to operate the Service on your behalf.
9. Warranties & liability
Asklune is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” without express or implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; our total liability in any case shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, (c) gross negligence or intentional misconduct, or (d) any other liability that cannot be excluded under Swiss or applicable EU consumer protection law.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you seriously breach these Terms, with notice where practical.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the competent courts at our registered office, subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app with reasonable advance notice. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
